I took these photos near a homeless encampment the day after a tornado ripped through the heart of St. Louis City, destroying many homes and taking lives. The air contained a mixture of exhaustion and relief as the homeless waited to be served a hearty meal, snow cones and desert. For those volunteering, it was a day when meaning and inspiration were easily found.
